Satpura National Park is spread over 1427 sq km and was formed in 1981 after joining Satpura, Pachmari and Bori sanctuaries. Its fauna comprises Spotted Dear, Indian Bison(Gaur), Tigers, Leopards, Wild boar, Wild dog, Sloth bear, Black buck, Porcupine, Sambhar, Four Horned antelopes, Otters, Crocodile, Malabar squirrels, Langurs. Indian Giant squirrel and White Bison are a special feature of Satpura National Park. From November to March it also hosts a variety of migratory birds in the Tawa reservoir and fields around the park.

Here, nestled between the folds of the mountains, lie the shola grasslands—cool, windswept meadows cradled by stunted evergreen forests. These fragile habitats are rare, and from a macro photographer’s eye, they are gold. Every moss-laced trunk, dew-covered fern, and fallen leaf hides life at a scale few stop to notice.
The magic begins at night—with resplendent bush frogs, cryptic insects, and glistening reptiles emerging from the shadows. These are stories best told through light, texture, and patience. Itinerary
Day 1[Arrival & Trail]: 28th Aug’25
- Transfer from Cochin Airport to Resort.
- Arrival at Resort.
- 5.00 pm we will depart for Macro Night Trail
- Dinner and lights off!
Day 2[Trail]: 29th Aug’25
- 8.00 am Morning Breakfast coffee / tea .
- 9.00 am we will assemble for Macro learning workshop.
- Assemble for lunch.
- 5.00 pm we will depart for Macro Night Trail.
- Return back to the resort.
- Dinner and lights off!
Day 3 [Trail]: 30th Aug’25
- 6.00 am Wakeup call with coffee/tea, Breakfast.
- 7.00 am depart for Trail at Meesapulimala.
- Return to resort at 1.00 pm.
- Assemble for lunch.
- 5.00 pm we will depart for Macro Night Trail.
- Return back to the resort.
- Dinner and lights off!
Day 4 [Departure]: 31st Aug’25
- 7.00 am Wakeup call with coffee/tea, Breakfast.
- Checkout and transfer to Cochin Airport.
- End of Expedition
Inclusions:
- Land Transfers- Cochin to Cochin
- Full-board stay (Twin sharing) at Bracknell Forest Resort
- 3 night trails & 1 half day Herping in important zones in the park.

Exclusions:
- Flight/train tickets
- Camera fees if any
- Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic beverages
- Tips, laundry, personal snacks etc.
- Participants are required to cover any expenses not specified in the ‘inclusions’ as additional costs.
Cost Per Person:
- INR – 43900/- Incl of 5% GST and applicable taxes
- Tribe Members are entitled to a discount of 10%
- Children up to 5 years of age are complimentary, above 5 years would be charged as normal.

Cancellation:
- Cancellation made within the first 10 days of booking would be entitled for a 50% credit note of trip cost.
- Any cancellation thereafter would be strictly non-refundable
