Ecotrailz – Where Stories, Wildlife & Photography Come Together

Bandhavgarh Collective

Domestic

Bandhavgarh Collective
Nestled in the heart of central India, Bandhavgarh National Park is a landscape of ancient Sal forests, bamboo thickets, rugged hills and open grasslands, shaped by generations of wilderness. Spread across more than 1,500 sq km, Bandhavgarh is renowned for its exceptional density of wild tigers, with an estimated population of 130+ tigers across the landscape. This remarkable concentration makes the reserve one of the world’s most celebrated destinations for observing and photographing the Bengal tiger in its natural habitat. Beyond the tiger, Bandhavgarh supports an impressive diversity of wildlife, including Leopards, Sloth Bears, Dhole, Sambar, Spotted Deer and Nilgai, alongside more than 350 species of birds. But Bandhavgarh is about more than the possibility of a tiger sighting. It is about entering a landscape where forest, terrain and wildlife come together in an unusually intimate wilderness experience and where every safari holds the promise of something entirely its own.
