About Dudhwa National Park:

Dudhwa National Park, a protected area in the Terai region of Uttar Pradesh, India. It’s renowned for its rich biodiversity, particularly known for its population of swamp deer (barasingha). The park is situated on the India-Nepal border in the foothills of the Himalayas and is part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. Dudhwa National Park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including tigers, leopards, elephants, rhinoceroses, sloth bears, and several bird species. It’s also a significant habitat for the endangered barasingha, which is found in good numbers here. The park offers opportunities for wildlife safaris, birdwatching, and nature walks, allowing visitors to experience the natural beauty and diversity of the region. It’s an important conservation area and a popular destination for ecotourism in India.

About the Skipper

Ratish Nair is an award-winning Wildlife Photographer known for his exceptional work. He serves as a Nikon Creator and Photo Mentor, bringing his expertise to aspiring photographers. As the skipper for Ecotrailz, he leads and conducts enriching photo workshops for participants, enhancing their skills during their journeys with Ecotrailz.

Itinerary [Arrival to Departure]

Day 1[Arrival]: 1st May 2024

• Transfer from Lucknow to Dudhwa at 2.00 pm.
• Arrival at Resort
• 8:00 pm Dinner and lights off!

Day 2,3,4 [Game Drives]: 2nd – 4th May’24

• 5:00 am Wakeup call with coffee / tea
• Will depart for Morning Safari at 5.15 am
• 10:00 am Return to Resort for Breakfast/Tea or Coffee/bath/refresh. ∙ Lunch with some leisure time.
• 2:00 pm leave for afternoon safari.
• 7:00 pm Return back to the resort.
• 8:00 pm Dinner and lights off!

Day 5[Departure]: 5th May’24

• Morning Breakfast between 7.00-8.00 am
• Checkout by 8.00 am and transfer to Lucknow
• End of Expedition

Inclusions:

• Land Transfers- Lucknow to Lucknow
• Full-board stay (Twin sharing)
• 6 safaris in important zones in the park
• Forest Permits
• Vehicle charges
• GST & Applicable taxes

Exclusions:

• Flight/train tickets
• Camera fees if any
• Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic beverages
• Tips, laundry, personal snacks etc.
• Participants are required to cover any expenses not specified in the ‘inclusions’ as additional costs.

Note: Any forthcoming increases in Government Taxes and Safari Fees imposed by the Forest Department are not included in the package, but we will promptly notify you and invoice you for these charges upon receiving communication from the authorities.

Package Cost:

• INR 46,700 Incl of 5% GST and applicable taxes
• Tribe Members are entitled to a discount of 10%
• Children up to 5 years of age are complimentary, above 5 years would be charged as normal.

Payment Terms:

• 50% at the time of booking.
• Balance 50% – 30 days before the Expedition
• Payment Options: NEFT/ UPI/Credit cards/Debit cards.
• Easy monthly installment choices accessible on major bank credit cards, including a ‘No-Cost’ option for a 3-month period.

Cancellation:

• Cancellation made within the first 10 days of booking would be entitled for a 50% credit note of trip cost.
• Any cancellation thereafter would be strictly non-refundable.
