Satpura National Park is spread over 1427 sq km and was formed in 1981 after joining Satpura, Pachmari and Bori sanctuaries. Its fauna comprises Spotted Dear, Indian Bison(Gaur), Tigers, Leopards, Wild boar, Wild dog, Sloth bear, Black buck, Porcupine, Sambhar, Four Horned antelopes, Otters, Crocodile, Malabar squirrels, Langurs. Indian Giant squirrel and White Bison are a special feature of Satpura National Park. From November to March it also hosts a variety of migratory birds in the Tawa reservoir and fields around the park.

About Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary
The Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Western Ghats in Goa, India, is a protected area that spans over 240 square kilometers. Established in 1978, it is renowned for its rich biodiversity and diverse ecosystems, ranging from moist deciduous forests to evergreen forests. The sanctuary is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including Bioluminescence fungus and rare species. Ornate narrow mouth, Cat snake, Malabar gliding frog, Ornate narrow mouth. Saw Scaled viper, Keelback, Scorpions like hottentotta, Isometrus, Nyctibatracus, Taratula
and Hump-nosed pit viper. It also include bronze-back tree snake, cat snake, hump-nosed pit viper, Indian rock python, Malabar pit viper, rat snake, Russell’s viper, Indian cobra and common krait. The most famous reptilian inhabitant of the park, however, is king cobra.
About the Skipper
Ratish Nair is an award-winning Wildlife Photographer known for his exceptional work. He serves as a Nikon Creator and Photo Mentor, bringing his expertise to aspiring photographers. As the skipper for Ecotrailz, he leads and conducts enriching photo workshops for participants, enhancing their skills during their journeys with Ecotrailz.
Itinerary [Arrival to Departure]
Day 1[Arrival & Trail]: 23rdAugust 2024
- Transfer from Dabolim (Goa) Airport to Resort at 9.00 am. ∙ Arrival at Nature’s Nest
- Some leisure time followed by Lunch at 1.00-2.00 pm
- 4.00 pm assemble for Herping session.
- 8.00 pm Dinner and lights off!
Day 2 [Trail]: 24thAugust’24
- 6:00 am Wakeup call with coffee / tea, Breakfast.
- 8:00 am we will depart for Trail.
- Lunch during Trail.
- 7:00 pm Return back to the resort.
- 8:30 pm assemble for an in-depth classroom session/ Image reviews/ Photography discussion with Ratish.
- Dinner and lights off!
Day 3[Trail & Departure]: 25th August’24
- 6.00 am Wakeup call with coffee/tea, Breakfast.
- 8.00 am we will depart for Trail
- Checkout by 11.00 am and transfer to Dabolim Goa Airport.
- End of Expedition
Inclusions:

- Herping in important zones in the park with 2 Naturalists. ∙ Forest Permits

Exclusions:
- Flight/train tickets
- Camera fees if any
- Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic beverages
- Tips, laundry, personal snacks etc.
- Participants are required to cover any expenses not specified in the ‘inclusions’ as additional costs.
Note: Any forthcoming increases in Government Taxes and Safari Fees imposed by the Forest Department are not included in the package, but we will promptly notify you and invoice you for these charges upon receiving communication from the authorities.
Cost Per Person:
- INR 33,900 Incl of 5% GST and applicable taxes
- Tribe Members are entitled to a discount of 10%
- Children up to 5 years of age are complimentary, above 5 years would be charged as normal.

Cancellation:
- Cancellation made within the first 10 days of booking would be entitled for a 50% credit note of trip cost.
