About Satpura:

Satpura National Park, situated in the Satpura Range of central India in the Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh, covers an area of approximately 524 square kilometers. Established in 1981, it, along with the Bori and Pachmarhi wildlife sanctuaries, forms the Satpura Tiger Reserve. Known for its diverse terrain, including hills, valleys, and rivers, the park is a haven for rich biodiversity. Wildlifers can spot a variety of wildlife, including Bengal tigers, Indian leopards, gaurs, and various deer species. Satpura National Park provides a less-commercialized and serene wildlife experience in the Central Indian Highlands.

About the Skipper

Ratish Nair is an award-winning Wildlife Photographer known for his exceptional work. He serves as a Nikon Creator and Photo Mentor, bringing his expertise to aspiring photographers. As the skipper for Ecotrailz, he leads and conducts enriching photo workshops for participants, enhancing their skills during their journeys with Ecotrailz.

Itinerary [Arrival to Departure]

Day 1[Arrival]: 7th March 2024

• Transfer from Nagpur to Satpura at 8.00 am.
• Afternoon arrival at Bori Safari lodge.
• Lunch will be served between 13.00 to 14.00 hrs.
• By 2:00 pm we will leave for afternoon safari
• 7:30 pm Return back to the resort
• 9:00 pm Dinner and lights off!

Day 2,3 [Game Drives]: 8th & 9th March’24

• 5:00 am Wakeup call with coffee / tea
• Will depart for Morning Safari with packed breakfast.
• Return to camp for refresh
• Lunch with some leisure time
• By 2:00 pm we will leave for afternoon safari.
• 7:30 pm Return back to the resort
• 8:00 pm assemble for an in-depth classroom session/ Image reviews/Photography discussion with Ratish.
• 9:00 pm Dinner and lights off!

Day 4[Departure]: 10th March’24

• 5:00 am Wakeup call with coffee / tea
• Will depart for Morning Safari with packed breakfast
• Checkout at 12.00 noon and drop to Nagpur
• End of Expedition

Inclusions:

• Land Transfers- Nagpur to Nagpur
• Exploring the Art of Photography through Hands-On Field Sessions, Interactive Classroom Learning, and Insightful Image Reviews
• Full-board stay at Bori Safari Lodge (Twin sharing)
• 6 safaris in important zones in the park
• Forest Permits
• Vehicle chargesGST & Applicable taxes

Exclusions:

• Flight/train tickets
• Camera fees if any
• Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic beverages
• Tips, laundry, personal snacks etc.
• Participants are required to cover any expenses not specified in the ‘inclusions’ as additional costs.

Note: Any forthcoming increases in Government Taxes and Safari Fees imposed by the Forest Department are not included in the package, but we will promptly notify you and invoice you for these charges upon receiving communication from the authorities.

Cost Per Person:

• INR 54,500 Incl of 5% GST and applicable taxes
• Tribe Members are entitled to a discount of 10%
• Children up to 5 years of age are complimentary, above 5 years would be charged as normal.

Payment Terms:

• 50% at the time of booking.
• Balance 50% – 30 days before the Expedition
• Payment Options: NEFT/ UPI/Credit cards/Debit cards.
• Easy monthly installment choices accessible on major bank credit cards, including a ‘No-Cost’ option for a 3-month period.

Cancellation:

• Cancellation made within the first 10 days of booking would be entitled for a 50% credit note of trip cost.
• Any cancellation thereafter would be strictly non-refundable.
